This thread shows vividly the big problem with the Pepsi-MTV-texting instead of talking generation of today. Some of you have non-realistic expectations about what "love", "relationships", and an ideal "partner" is.

I'm not going to type my typical wall of text, unless yall make me to, because I'm certain it will fall on deaf ears. But I will say this:

You get treated EXACTLY how you ALLOW someone to treat YOU. Period.

Ladies want a "bad boy" because they have this fantasy in their head that since they saw well endowed Tommy Lee on TV or some filthy rich worthless rapper on "cribs" talking about their alligator skinned couch....then THAT is what I must have or want. Then those same ladies complain when that same "bad boy" they fantasized about for so long lives up to his name/reputation......DUR DUR.... Just WHO'S just as much to blame there????

There's an old song that says, "....looking for love in all the wrong places, looking for love in too many places..." Far too often women in this new, "I don't need a man, but I want one anyway" society aren't true with themselves FIRST. Stop the game playing and control the things that YOU can FIRST. If you want a man, then act like it. If you dont, then act that way too. All these "rules" to dating. All these fantasies about un-realistic things and expectations are nothing more than a recipe for disaster and heart aches.

My departing shot is this: Ladies, put on your big girl panties on and stop pointing the finger at the man for everything. Everytime you point a finger at someone, you have 3 fingers pointing back at you. Try it and see.

I agree with you and everyone else who made valid points. This thread was still just to BS around though.

Yeah, but there was atleast a smidget of truth to your original post because women far too often think exactly like that.

I agree. It isn't one sex or the other. It lies within the person. Everyone has faults and makes mistakes. It is a learning and making progress that is needed.

Yeah, but it is far more often the women that lie at night all "dissapointed" and "lonely" because they have these un-realistic expectations and fantasies about what a "man" should be like. Guys for the most part don't dwell on things like that. They're usually happy just to get some, so they don't complain too much as long as they're getting it. Of course we all want that "lady on the streets, and a freak in the bed" thing, but if we too make that out more than it really is then we are just setting ourselves up for dissapointment too.

Everyone needs to realize that if YOU don't bring something worthwhile to the table, then you can't expect your significant other to pick up the slack for the both of you.
