    i'll try not to....but we get free coffee at work from the nescafe machine so i had a hot chocolate 3 french vanilla somthins 2 sweet teas and a mountain dew today so i wanna sleep but my body is saying screw that

    dude welcome to adhd....i can be sitting somewhere not wanting to pay attention to anything and just rest and after 30 seconds if i don't get up and move around i get this crazy jumpy feeling....it sucks

    no...aim chatrooms don't work...too many conversations at once...it's been tried....and yea i get pissed easy...i have to just stop and get away from whatever is goin on or i will snap and freak out...lol

    oh no, i know there's a difference...i just think it's ridiculous how quick schools & doctors are to try to diagnose add/adhd. hell, i'm 24 & i don't have add or adhd & i'd have a hard time sitting down for 6-8 hours & listening to a teacher! they're just too eager to put kids on drugs because the teachers don't have the patience they used to have.

    i was diagnosed in 3rd grade and everything before the medicine i forgot (like literally when i hit 4th grade i couldn't remember learning any of it and then after the medicine i started getting wayyyyy better grades in class....in kindergarden me and my add/adhd buddy were the only two who never slept during nap time...we'd just lay there and make fun of the other kids while they slept

    NEVER put her on Stratera no matter what a doctor recomends...that stuff will screw her up....if you miss one day taking it then your sleeping habits are screwed up for a week....it is not a fun drug to be on

    my son never slept...hell, he still hates to sleep! i don't know...i think it's possibly he may have a touch of it, but i think most of his school's "diagnosis" is just him being a little boy & his teacher not knowing how to deal with it. she needs to go teach middle school or something!
