second, i'll be damn sure happy to when it gets there.... assuming i dont buy something newer by then. oh btw, i wont be doing a "swap" on my car... i can make plenty of power with the engine it came with from the FACTORY... oh yeah, and by factory, i mean here in the US.

i dont think id ever move solely based on the car scene. it would also depend on how established i am too. house, wife, kids, etc. i probably wouldnt be going anywhere.

I have no problem with american cars, i have owned many myself. I was actually going to do a ls1 swap but to make over 600hp it was going to be cheaper to do a 2j swap since I have a friend that imports them. nissan interiors are cheap, the 350z feels like your sitting in a cockpit made by tupperware.

dont get me wrong, i'm not trying to be an elitest or anything, but i simply never understood why the "240sx is the god of the imports" mentality completely took off. sure, there's drifting... but thats grown into more of a fad than an enjoyable "sport."

I agree its a fad! If i go to an event I get bored with it within a hour, I'd rather be driving. I liked the 240 cause its a very cheap, light weight, rwd, can throw any motor in it, its really easy to work on and many parts you can swap out with other nissan's or infiniti's.

But the majority of 240 owners are just jumping on this damn bandwagon that wont end soon enough. Guess i can't complain though cause parts are getting cheaper.

btw......i will be using a pontiac solstice tranny on my swap

ha ha......like the Zohan? the industry has really changed. I've worked in 8 salons and maybe about 35% were gay. Im living in Nashville right now and about 20% of my clients are strippers and another 30% are bartenders. Can't complain about that.

I am 100% happy about where I am located. The Rx-7 group I am in is like a family. Click my recover thread link in my sig to see how being in a little free Rx-7 club helped me get 12 guys to help build my car from a stripped shell in 3 days for the cost of parts, that got to damaged in the crash to be swapped.
