Is a crap car scene enough reason to move somewhere else??

I hope you're kidding... So you're into the car scene for the attention or something? I personally could care less about hanging out and talking about cars, I like driving, that doesn't require other enthusiasts.

GA has a good car scene though so..

Actually, it's a lot more fun when you're in a caravan and running shit together. Soooo much more fun.
