Val has a great point.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a calendar with some hot chicks on it, but if I saw some of the girls on IA at the mall, I wouldn't give 95% of them a second glance.

As SpeedMonkey said, you guys keep posting up pics of girl's cars, but where are the girls? I suppose there could be a 3-girl calendar with them rotating months, lol.

Point is all IA does it seems it show off these same girls in pics at parties and get togethers. The pics are all the same chicks grabbing and rubbing all over each other and the guys do the same shocker pose. I just wish some of them would have respect for themself. It just looks trashy and slutty to me. You guys may bash me for the moral views and what not but, sorry I have to speak the truth about this.

A lot of other car forums have calendars not just the supra forums. Dsmtuners for example puts one out every year by having member sumbit pics of their cars through a pic only thread. after the deadline admins/mods/wismen vote on which pics they like best.....I think this is a great way to do it for a car only calendar, unless your trying to get the girls in, in which case a photoshoot with all the cars/girls would probably be best.

Well I had thought of a best if IA calender...Where the entire site would nominate cars... Then the top 20 cars get voted on and then the top 12 go into the calender... but this way with the girls we can show off more than just one car a month.. with the girls we are able to display 2-3 cars (depending on what the girl chooses). But If people keep complaining im not ganna spend my time working on something no one wants...

No one is disputing the fact that it isn't a good way to market the website. This was never the case.

The fact remains that it seems really fake, and deceiving that you'd post the girls in front of a guy's car. Promote the website, but do it accordingly. If you want to display the girls that are in the 'scene', do it. Just remove the fakeness of it all. If you want it to seem like the girls on here know what they're doing, and that they have fast cars, then go ahead and have them pose in front of a guy's car.

Everyone knows that the car scene has always been predominantly a guy's field. If you open a calendar and see girls posing in front of heavily modified cars, you will assume it's a girl's car. Which is nothing but a huge facade. Which brings me to disapprove of it.

If it were girls posing in front of their actual cars, then it'd be all good, and I'd be all for it.

I disagree with that. There are thousands of automobile calendars over the years that have girls modeling with the cars and I have never once though that the car was the females car. Later, QD.

Correct, but they're also there to sell caledars and bring in revenue. If you're putting out a calendar to promote IA, and calling it the 'girls of IA', then it may lead some to believe otherwise.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this calendar is about the girls of IA, is it not?

personally, if i chose to do the calendar thing, i'd be willing to pose on my own car, but i don't think anybody wants to see a stock g6. i have a stock family car because i have 2 kids...i'd rather have a vehicle that my kids can fit & ride in comfortably. i am on ia because i've been on here for 5 years & i used to have slightly modded vehicles, but responsibilities take presedence over my car.

this girl wants to do a calendar to promote the website...if that includes the cars of ia with girls of ia, so be it. if it includes the cars of ia, then so be it. but like somebody said before, if you see a girl on a car in a calendar & you automatically assume that the car belongs to that girl (even when there's a caption stating the girl's name & the owner of the car), then you've been midled for a long time because calendars with girls on cars that aren't theirs have existed for a long time!
