A lot of other car forums have calendars not just the supra forums. Dsmtuners for example puts one out every year by having member sumbit pics of their cars through a pic only thread. after the deadline admins/mods/wismen vote on which pics they like best.....I think this is a great way to do it for a car only calendar, unless your trying to get the girls in, in which case a photoshoot with all the cars/girls would probably be best.

Well I had thought of a best if IA calender...Where the entire site would nominate cars... Then the top 20 cars get voted on and then the top 12 go into the calender... but this way with the girls we can show off more than just one car a month.. with the girls we are able to display 2-3 cars (depending on what the girl chooses). But If people keep complaining im not ganna spend my time working on something no one wants...

Well I think thats a good idea, best response out of all of this but, let it be about the cars and leave the girls out of it. That's what this site started out to be not sex.

No one is disputing the fact that it isn't a good way to market the website. This was never the case.

The fact remains that it seems really fake, and deceiving that you'd post the girls in front of a guy's car. Promote the website, but do it accordingly. If you want to display the girls that are in the 'scene', do it. Just remove the fakeness of it all. If you want it to seem like the girls on here know what they're doing, and that they have fast cars, then go ahead and have them pose in front of a guy's car.

Everyone knows that the car scene has always been predominantly a guy's field. If you open a calendar and see girls posing in front of heavily modified cars, you will assume it's a girl's car. Which is nothing but a huge facade. Which brings me to disapprove of it.

If it were girls posing in front of their actual cars, then it'd be all good, and I'd be all for it.

Correct, but they're also there to sell caledars and bring in revenue. If you're putting out a calendar to promote IA, and calling it the 'girls of IA', then it may lead some to believe otherwise.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this calendar is about the girls of IA, is it not?

I was just about to say the same thing, plus Ren said she was going to write the name of the car's owner and the model, so it would be real obvious.
