Ok so this all started Thursday night after a friend and I tried working out. We both had really been into it but stopped at the begging of this year for various reasons. Anyways, my friend has a nice little gym setup on his back porch. We both started out wearing about 2-3 layers of clothes to stay warm and get our blood up. Well eventually we started coming out of those layers due to sweating like crazy. After a good 45 minute work out we went to a local track for our cardio. Well we got about 2 miles in and decided to quit because the sun started going down and we were tired and getting cold. Now after I get home eat and take a shower, I get really tired and start aching all over. Didn't really think nothing of it at first because that's usually what happens after a hard workout since I'm not really used to it. Just thought I had over done it a little. Well, later that night I start freezing. I had a fire going down stairs and the house was around 75 degrees and I was wrapped up, but it wasn't helping at all. I could barely move without hurting all over especially my arms. Yet again, I thought it was just from the workout. Then I started thinking I shouldn't be this sore all over and have the other things. We both stretched for about 10 minutes before and after the workout and the little running we did. The next morning I wake up covered in sweat. It's so bad when I get out of my bed it's running down my body like I'm in the shower lol. I started getting bad headaches, severe cold chills with no fever, runny and stuffy nose, worsening body aches especially in my arms, very fatigued when I haven't done anything but lay in the bed. I looked up some of the symptoms of having Swine Flu and I have a lot of them lol. Anyway no doctor for me, cause not having insurance, money, or a job sucks ass. O well at least I have my Robitussin, Nyquil, Tyelenol, Advil, and Mucinex. So what do you guys think?

Yes QD, I do know that. But, I have some medicine I started taking for the flu on Thursday night and I feel as if I have only gotten worse. I've had the fllu before twice. Once when I was little, then again when I was 14-15. Didn't feel anything like this. Plus then I had a lot more pressure in my chest and couldn't breathe for shit.

You can't get a cold or flu virus from being cold or getting a chill, you can only get those from coming in contact with the virus. Lowering your body temp could potentially lower your immunity though so you did have a higher chance of falling ill during that time if you came in contact with someone with the virus. Maybe look into other sicknesses like sinusitis, pneumonia, or something along those lines too??

I took it about three weeks ago, the day after i got back from leave, never felt any side affects though. Its mandatory in the military now, at least over here it is.

It would of busted in another hour or so, that's what they told me anyways. Was working off and on at a few different temp service when this happened, I was 19 at the time, so no insurance and barely making any money to scrap by with. I was in there for about 4 hours or so. Don't really remember because to sedate me enough to take the pain away so they could inject antibiotics in my gut, they had used almost three bags of Demerol and Finnegan in my iv. Anyways they told me when I started coming around that I was good to go. So I was like ok cool. Left and had to come right back in less than 12 hours for the same thing.. Stayed about 6 and half hours this trip. Total hospital bill was of twelve grand. I just got it paid off last year. I applied for gov.'t help but I was denied because I made to much. $7.50 an hour at that time was to much I guess. So I will not go back to the hospital unless I have insurance.

Hell I can't even go to the goodwill doctor up here. I've tried for the last month and a half because I haven't been able to hear out of my right ear. Every time I go, I'm either to wealthy and/or don't have the proper forms. Even tho I have made two list with everything they need.

Just so you know if you go to a "doc in a box" its $110 for the office visit and usually $20 for antibiotics. No excuse not to go to a doctor if you feel that bad.

The Flu is a Virus. You cannot cure a Virus, you can only Vaccinate or treat the symptoms. Wait it out a couple of Days. You don't feel better, go to the hospital.
