that part was true...and even as me being a mechanical newbie, I chided him about the jb weld, after he told me about it. but understand.....THE fuel rail was already cracked. jdmdude pointed that out when the car was there before pulling the motor, after he pulled hoses off in preparation for the engine pull. and the owner of said vehicle could'nt have a new one there in time for the event he wanted to participate in.
