I've been with my wife for 7 years... yeah yeah, may not be a long time for some, but it's been long enough. I'm very confident and secure with my marriage that I don't need to tell her everyday with a random phone call that I love her. I know she already knows that, as I know she loves me. I get to see her everyday when we get off work and we get to say it in person. While looking each other in the eyes. Means more to me to do it that way.

No one said anything about a phone call. I wouldn't want a random phone call while I'm at work. I used text since most of us text these days while at work. You missed my point, but got it at the same time. Keep doing what you do. Take a damn chill pill too.

It isn't abnormal or even a bad thing that you don't text your significant other hour or several times a day. I have text disabled on my phones as I don't have the need to text anyone. But you're a clingy person if you expect to have someone call/text you randomly through the day. Especially when you're trying to earn a living and you're expected (or are expecting) to call. I go home every night, faithfully, to my family and I work to provide for them. I don't have to tell them I how I feel several times during the day.
