    So how will you be eating your turkey on Thanksgiving if you are having some? If other, please explain.

    I will be frying my turkey this year I love the way it tastes you just have to be really careful about cookin it. It's kinda dangerous

    i'm tempted to try a Fowl De Cochon or a turducken. anyone tried them before?

    Yeah, no alcohol before and during the frying! I fried one before and had too much oil in the fryer and some of it came out when I put the turkey in and some one slipped in it and about knocked over the fryer. That could have ended badly! I love the fried turkey, but I like the challenge of baking one to perfection and my daughter wants to help so that will be a cool thing to do. We put some rub on the turkey tonight and did some marinade so it should be ready for the oven in the am.

    The first one you mentioned was new to me. That does sound interesting. Saw the turducken on the food network and it looked pretty good. Different layers of tastiness.

    i donno....my grandfathers doing what he does....usually smokes them....i actually haven't had any fried turkey before

    Fried turkey is bangin. I injected mine with spices and butter tonight and it's getting dunked in the deep fryer at 3 pm.

    we cooked one trash can turkey(google it), and had a guy we know that runs a shanes rib shack smoke one for us. both were amazing.

    I injected my 15.8 lbs bird with jalapeño and butter, then fried it for 52 min at 320 deg. It came out bangin.

    Next week, I think I'm going to inject a chicken with some Italian Herb seasioning and see how it comes out.
