Normally though people who act like that can only learn about "maturity" by either getting into fight, and him seeing that it was stupid or him getting his ass beat. You're probably some well educated white dude with a pretty normal life - and you handled yourself in a way that showed your age.

Can't say that I would do the same, but sometimes you have to fight back - one way or another. Verbally would've done the trick imo. And if for some reason fists were thrown - then oh well. A fight isn't the end of the world.

I was yelling back, but it was pointless. He pulled me over to the side and gave me demands for how I should act online, and I raised my voice to him. So basically, it was just us going back and forth, and him continuing to tell me what to do and threatening to kick my ass, then SCREAMING at me about raising my voice, and telling me I should respect him. Seemed kinda pointless to me, so I just eventually walked away.
