Apparently nobody in here knows what Salvia is used for.
It's not a "yay, party, fun time!" drug, and the benefits of using it are NOT the trip. Salvia has very pleasant qualities that last for around 24 hours after smoking. The "trip" itself is for meditation or "conciousness expansion" purposes. The hallucinations are the most natural your brain can produce, they are created the same way visions are created in dreams (so the WAY the trip comes on is completely different than acid or mushrooms, etc).
You're not supposed to take it with lots of people or noise around, and it should be done by yourself (or with 1 sober and quiet sitter), usually in a dark or dimly lit room that is very quiet.
Just a FYI for anyone that may be interested in trying it.....there are many benefits to using the drug, and to this day there are no health risks nor any addictive qualities. Basically, it's MUCH safer and "healthier" than pot, even.
