Someone steals your car. The police can't/won't help so you take matters in your own hands. You find the dude and rough him up or whatever; shoot him. Well you WILL get caught on that note and you end up in jail. Or say you kill the dude. Now you've got life (or most of it) behind bars. If the dude doesn't die, then it's a win/win situation for him because not only did he get your car, but you are the one that goes to jail over it. If you kill the dude, then you're giving up 25+ years of your life over a Honda? Or any car? No car is worth my freedom.

I've never understood why people think that a car is worth their life. If the police don't/can't do anything about it, I'm chalking it up as a loss and will be better prepared the next time.

For most people, who would shoot anyways, I think they feel that they are doing society a favor. But really it's a lost cause. You will never get rid of all of the thieves. Once someone is convicted of a felony, serve their time, and are released, they aren't going to be able to find a job, so they will resort to other means. Ultimately the justice system inevitably produces more crime in this light.

I agree. I've held a GFL for years and of all the hoods I've been in and shit I've seen, I've only pulled my strap out once. Luckily I didn't blast (although I was in the right), but I just didn't feel the need to. The fucker got the point immediately and backed out of my car. Later, QD.

I went to get in my car at a Wal-Mart in Decatur and I was in the car and tried to pull the door shut. I couldn't and looked and a dude was in between my car and my door so I couldn't close it.
