Yea i quit my job today even being hard times! all i got to say is Pepboys is a cum guzzling sorry excuse of a business. They treat there employees like garbage.. i was there 2 1/2 years, but

How exactly did Pep Boys treat you like shit?

Did they take away your 401k? Your dental, health or vision insurance? Did you work 40+ hours with no overtime?

well lets see, i worked there part time. they said they couldnt make me full time because only 2 full timers allowed. the 2 they had, have been there over 4 years so first come first serve. so they fucked the system and gave me like 32 hrs one week then 40 for the next two weeks. this way i would work basically full time and i didnt get benefits. i started out with minimum wage with only one 50 cent raise in my whole 2 1/2 yrs.

the whole reason i walked out is because i helped a customer and my manager asked why i wasnt doin what i was assigned. idk just fed up with his angry ape monster lookin ass.

communication is KEY, if there is a problem talk it out man resolve whatever issues you have. Esp with a big business like that.

Tried, no raises available times are hard. if i wanted benefits they are offered for a ridiculous amount for the part timers.

Damn dude. i feel your pain.. if i could leave pepboys i would in a heart beat.. im really tired of all there shit. its really funny cause they told me the same thing. then when one full timer left instead of asking me if i wanted it, they paid for another manager at a different store to move and come to this one! oh and when i ask him about hours they tell me "well we have to cut hours" and then i walk in to see 2 new people standing there. it so pisses me off

i feel ya man,i been there before,but i would reccomend that next time you get another job lined up first.when im done with a job i make sure i got another lined up first. just quitting makes for a nasty strike on your "job" record as in references cause you just wasted 2 1/2 years with manny moe and jack .......

next time give a notice and leave on good terms and let management know why..
