Let me put it the way our Store's general manager puts it. It is our pleasure to serve you, and here is why. He is 25, with a daughter Olivia, he says it's his pleasure to have a job, that allows him to give his taughter the time she needs with him on his free Sundays, it's his pleasure to bring his fair share of the income for his family, it's his pleasure that you keep coming back to support the store and give him good job security.

It's my pleasure to have the job security by serving you. It's my pleasure to have a job that granted me a $1k scholarship. It's my pleasure to have a wonderful Manager title to put on my resume, because I get to better myself serving you. It's my pleasure to see the comment cards at the end of each month with all 5s checked, a comment about politeness and my name written under the "people who served you". It's my pleasure to make somebody smile.

Maybe they've got us brainwashed, or maybe I am just weird, but I do love being at my job. I get to interact and meet many interesting wonderful peopel (and some that are the opposite).

It was like somebody posted in another CFA thread (yours is kind of a repost) "It can't be your pleasure dealing with customers with minimum wage". I don't know if you have noticed our popularity or prices, but we make a good bit of money as a store, so all the employers make about $1-$2 more than minimum wage. Min is what, $7.25 now, and I make 9 as a manager, it's not so bad.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

I've heard all the perks about being a Chick-fil-a employee. My good Friend's Wife worked her way up to Store Manager for one here local, and was in line to become a Director of a new store. The bad thing is, you have to devote your LIFE to it. The store becomes like a child. You HAVE to go to Church, you have to go Sunday's and Wednesdays or something like that she said, you have to show up to work at least once a day, everyday. No matter for how long or little.

I'm thinking a little on the brainwash side, but also it's good to have Nice southern morals.
