If its $1000 a month, its something to seriously consider because barely surviving doesnt mean shit when it comes to career.

Meaning if you are in your career and barely able to survive NOW, pay bills , etc, your retirement and such really dont mean anything. Go where the cash is, even if its temporary IMO.

Do like Hundo said, tell your boss he is leaving you with no choice.

Your career field might be dead right now, so leave it, come back to it later IMO of course.

If the temp job is not significant pay increase, then stay where you are IMO
