I'm not on here enough to have a worthy opinion of who should be a new mod. However, of my time here on IA there has been one mod in particular who I've seen post on multiple occasions in ways that mods are not expected to carry themselves. In my opinion, mods should keep the peace and keep this place organized. They should be a behind-the-scenes reason that your average poster wants to come back to IA and tell his/her friends about it. Nobody wants to join or be an active part of a forum that's full of shit talking and misplaced threads. We've all seen whats happened to other forums when they get out of hand. Furthermore, that feeling is amplified when you have a mod who bashes more than the average noob and then threatens you via pm to ban you (not to mention the threats of personal harm if met face to face) because you disagree with something he posted and express it in a peaceful, relativity witty manner... of which he gets his panties in a twist over. That kind of thing discourages members from wanting to come back and in an EXTREME scenario, could discourage potential new sponsors.

I've never had an issue with ANYONE on this site except for with BobbyFresco, whom I am referring to in this post. I used to be a mod on SanAntonioImports.com back when it had over 10,000 members. I know you guys don't get paid to do what you do. I know how frustrating it can get. But YOU are the ones that keep this place tolerable and as such you should be held to a different standard than the average poster.

And to keep up with the "bash a mod!" theme.....I'm sot saying this little girl shouldn't be a mod. She was, after all, chosen for the position for one reason or another. I'm simply stating that it wouldn't be inaccurate to assume that I couldn't exactly not say that it is or isn't almost partially incorrect that I'm possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that in no way with any amount of uncertainty that I undeniably do or do not know that BobbyFresco has aids and that's why she's bitter, if that indeed isn't what she doesn't have!

Nobody wants to join or be an active part of a forum that's full of shit talking and misplaced threads. We've all seen whats happened to other forums when they get out of hand.

I can say one thing about this, dude. Import Atlanta about the most popular and consistently used automotive forum board in the South (maybe even further out, not sure). It is rare to see less than 300-500 people online at any time of day or night. This site grows immensely on a daily basis. I guarantee you that where a lot of forums might get 2, maybe 3 new members a day, IA does that almost every hour. At least 2-3. I can almost guarantee you that IA registers at least 10-15 new people PER DAY. That's a lot of nobodies.

About the second part (sentence), most of it can be answered/responded to by my above reply. This site actually went from good to evil (not really evil) and still grows the way it does. Back in 2002-04, this site, although much smaller, was probably the best the site has ever been. There was rarely a cause for beef. And any of that was kept in the WL only. Now it's everywhere. Yet the site continues to grow faster than was expected. I wish (like I think you would like to see) it was like back in the day. But there are too many people with too many egos to contend with now.

I was only pointing that out to dispel the myth above about nobody wanting to join. If Fresco were abusing mod powers during his run-ins with you, that would be one thing. But from what I see, it's just a lot of head's butting together over certain topics. I don't see you as a problem member here and everyone should just chill out and enjoy the ride. Later, QD.
