I always lolol @ the BET "argument." It's so petty. Who really cares (and if you do..why) what a TV channel calls themselves? So there's a BET. it's just the name. nothing about the shows/channel itself is racist. it conforms to all sorts of culture and black/white/asians alike watch the channel. the reason it's a "big deal" is because the name conforms to one specific race of people. It's just ignorant really.

Lolol. I just don't see the big deal. Now if there had been past evidence that there was an underhanded meaning to the name or proof that it is a racist channel, it might be a different story. But there has never been any controversy (aside from just people that don't like the name) linked to the channel.

The Hallmark channel... all they show is reruns of MASH and Walker Texas Ranger. I think Chuck's sidekick was Black, but thats about it. I don't think either of those shows are very popular in the hood.
