BET is in plain english, and conforms to all sorts of culture. NOT JUST BLACK CULTURE. Yet they insist on naming it black entertainment. That'd be like naming CMT, WET, just because it's country music, and only white honkey's listen to that.

What black guy, white guy, any guy, do you know that would go an watch the asian television channel? You can't fucking understand that shit. It truly is about Asian culture and asian shows. So it's asian television. Where as BET is just called black entertainment because a black guy wanted to play the race card, and bank off of it.

Well now we can have our own entertainment channel!

Refer to my last post.
Additionally, I could sit here all day and explain that BET spawned as a result of what someone ( the person who initially started BET) felt was needed to fill a void in what was considered to be programming that Black Americans could identify with, but you would not understand because the name will always be the underlying issue.

Currently, BET is owned by Viacom...the same company that owns many tv networks, including MTV. Owned by a White man. Perhaps all those bothered by the name of the network should write him a letter of protest...
