I sliced my thumb open a week before Christmas last yr and only need one stich because it was deep but not long. Well I was thinking if I get it numbed it will be another needle which I found out numbing is more then one needle because they have to stick you a few times all around the area so I am glad I didn't get it numbed but the worse was when they were knotting and pulling. I was barely hanging on before I screamed bloody murder. I was like no more no more no more.

Yeah they numbed it. They damn stuck that needle straight into the fucking cut too. Twice. But weird thing is, is it never hurt. From the time of the cut until currently, I haven't felt any pain. No drugs of any kind either (except for a Loritab they gave me right before the numbing). I did take 4 Advil last night just in case. I also got a tetanus shot as well. She told me that it won't hurt then, but that it will hurt pretty good today.

your an OG for real. I had to get that tetanus shot to. I was such a baby. I was like is this really needed? Do I have to get a shot and they were like yes. I am glad I didn't go with the numbing because I probably would have kicked the doctor, however I hope I never have to get stiches again, shit hurts. When I went on Christmas Eve to get it out I was like is this going to hurt and she was like no you won't feel anything, well she lied because to me it hurt. It like pulled on the skin. Then she was like you can move it and bend it like normal again. I was like no it hurts.

I'm going about removing the storm windows off the house today to make way for the new windows, when I came upon a stubborn frame to push out of the window sill. I gave it a little harder push from the inside and bent the aluminum frame and it shattered the glass. One of the pieces came down like a guillotine and straight into my wrist. Just like in the movies, the blood spurted out. Pretty crazy. Went straight to the emergency room and got her fixed up...4 stitches later. Spent 6 hours there. Damn. Doctor said when he read the report he came straight in there (slit wrist) and was completely surprised that it wasn't worse. Said I was within an 1/8 of an inch from slicing the main vein going through the arm to the hand. He doesn't how I got so lucky. But I did. Ahhh well. Later, QD.
