That would true, I guess, if you were actually on IA for the 3 years. Didn't you tell me that you've only really been on here for not even a year? About 4-5 months?

i've been here on and off. i would get on skim through but never really post. i was mainly looking at the car pics and cars for sale threads; getting ideas as to which car to buy and what can be done to it.

Yes, that would be so notably called, a lurker. A lurker is the bottom-feeding scum of the earth class of people on the internet. A lurker is a person who reads discussions on a forum or message board, but rarely participates. I believe it is a lack of trust that represents one of the reasons explaining lurking behavior. Perhaps a lack of trust in one's ability to socialize, or just a lack of trust in oneself.
