    i dont remember that. but i do remember the target mets, only went out there a few times. went the the old NP meets more then any of them.

    I was going to the NP meets in my Z32 300zx in '00-02 lol! We were doing Supra/Z32 meets back in '00 at Andretti, I know I have a couple pics on a CD somewhere...

    Ok, I know I am way late to this party but I had no idea this thread even existed...

    Thank you for the credit but I can't really confirm or deny whether or not I deserve it. I will say that at one time me and steve (b18something... he changed his name so many times) were going out to these meets over at target off pleasant hill and some bs ones out in marietta. We decided that we wanted to start something up more local and started meeting at steak and shake off 120. Then too many cars showed up for that lot and we moved all of our folks over to sonic where we kept going for a while.

    I went to every one of those meets for a long time and they grew but then it started becoming ricey where 30 scion tc's showed up doing burnouts and sonic didn't even want us there (no offense to TC's)... So I said "f### it... this is not my scene" and stopped going regularly. I'd stop at a meet here and there before it got to a point where I stopped going altogether. I just honestly outgrew the folks with the "I'm going to go show those people how cool I am by doing a burnout" mentality... So I haven't been to one in about a year and a half... and that is as much as I know about the sonic meets.

    Did I start them? Maybe... Maybe not... But does it really even matter? I never once went there with the daddy mentality like "this is my creation and it will fall apart without me"... I was just looking to have a good time with some cool people. I mean your dick must be tiny if you need to take credit for something like that. Whether or not you "paid off a cop" really has no relavance to the fact that people make their own decisions to meet up in a public doman and hang out with others. If it didn't happen at sonic, they would forget about you and move somewhere else... That is how society and the import scene functions.

    No offense meant to anybody especially Julio... and again thank you for the recognition.
