Don't need "proof" in Georgia. There is no law stating they have to show the radar gun or laser and certainly can't show the officers cars speedometer (other than on video). Anyone trained and certified to use radar is certified to pace yet I have never seen a law regarding pacing. I would contest it with monster truck force asking why he wasn't using radar because he was seen on the side of the road.Originally Posted by J-ROCK
Personally I would have a friend call ASAP in the morning and state they are "so and so" representing "G.C." in a traffic violation that occurred at X hours giving the officers name and badge number. It is MANDATORY the video is saved and request for it. It is public information but I don't know the regulations on giving it out. It will be recorded over if it's not immediately requested. Always always record anyones names that are spoken to with the exact time and date. Be as precise as possible about it.
