I've never been one to plead my case as to why I'm "the man for the job", but here goes:
I lurked on ImportAtlanta since early 2007. I've always enjoyed being on car forums, so I joined the site as a member. The longer I was on the site, the more I became attached. I now spend most of my free time on IA, as pathetic as that sounds. Between friends having school and work, me only having school in the morning, and my girlfriend living out of town, I find myself having a LOT of free time. Even when I'm busy, out of town, etc, I find time to log on and at least check new posts. Being a place that I spend most of my time, I'm pretty protective over it; I don't like to see the site abused... it's comparible to how I feel about my home/cars.
An obvious pet peeve of mine is posting in the wrong section, so some organization. Not just organization in that way though, rules are pretty important, so keeping stuff 'under control' would be something else... but I've never had problem with authority, working with a team, or abusing powers. I know input from everyone is important as well, as shown here. I was raised to show respect, but also I have a sense of humor, so if I come off as disrespectful, 98% of the time it's just joking around. I can be serious when time comes, it's not always games.
Like I said though, just talk to some people that know me and see what you think. What I say about myself can only go so far.
I haven't been a member on the site long, but I've learned how the site works, made friends, and it's become a part of my life.
Sorry if that's a short and simple answer, but I felt it's to the point.
