    what i hate about comcast is the stupid ass charges, like $3 for modem rental. obviously im going to use your modem, just doesnt make sense.

    just say your going to cancel with them and switch providers... works like a charm everytime... well for me anyways

    You can buy your own modem you know...... I picked a motorola up from Best Buy years ago... haven't paid that $ 3 ever since....
