How do you limit speed in a car? Is there a button? All I remember in driver ed's class was step on the pedal until you reached your desired speed.

People driving that slow cause just as many wrecks as those who speed in my opinion. Going so slow causes others to lock up their breaks, swerve into other lanes, and sometimes even run off the road. I think staying with the pace of traffic is the best speed to go when on the interstate.

I do 75 to about 80mph max. There is a rumor that you wont get stopped unless you stay under the 80 mark, but there are some asshole cops who will stop you for doing like 60 on 55 on 285 or 85.

Doing their jobs? If they are doing their jobs, every single one of us that posted in here, should get pulled over daily for not doing 55, or anything near that on speed limits such as 55 on 285. MOST cops just look for speeders who are going way beyond the speed limit.

I heard about that, but I've never got around to watch the video. And yeah, who would NOT be pissed for getting a ticket on 285 going 60 or 65, when you see 100 other assholes right next to you doing 80 and above and not getting pulled over.
Ever since I got my ticket for speeding on 285 I'm more aware of cops, but I think that speed limit is artificially low. Go out on 120 loop and the speed limit is 55 on one stretch and it's only two lanes. No highway should be anything lower than 65.

285 and 400...both should not be 55. when i moved to roswell from maryland and got on both 285 and 400 i literally thought i was going to be killed because i was going the speed limit. learned really quick that the speed limit on those two highways is whatever you want it to be.

tigerjc ..... you work on cobb parkway? i just got a job there and have to be there by 9am. i live in newnan go up 85 and get on 285 hows the traffic in the morning time on 285?
On 85 n it will be a little congested at 8am, but it will clear up once you hit 285. Traffic will be flowing until you get 2 exits before Cobb parkway. Takes me 40-50 mins to get to work in the morning, rarely will it be more than hour due to a accident.
After you pass 20 on 285 you can get of that exit and make a left when you get off the ramp and then make a right a few miles down to bypass traffic and take you straight to Cobb parkway near the Lexus dealership
