I do 75 to about 80mph max. There is a rumor that you wont get stopped unless you stay under the 80 mark, but there are some asshole cops who will stop you for doing like 60 on 55 on 285 or 85.

Doing their jobs? If they are doing their jobs, every single one of us that posted in here, should get pulled over daily for not doing 55, or anything near that on speed limits such as 55 on 285. MOST cops just look for speeders who are going way beyond the speed limit.

If you got nailed, for doing 5 over, tough shit, you deserve it. Why would you even think about bitching about getting a ticket if you were speeding? It's your fault, no matter how fast your going. Just because they don't get you one day doing 20 over, doesn't mean they won't get you the next only going 5 over.
