no one really tried to reason with me. you just jumped out saying what i was thinking is wrong you juswt didnt use those exact words.

thats not saying people are trying to reason with me. thats saying people are giving me reasons why he would want to yet i only see one reason but it doesnt answer my question
How do they not answer it? For christ's sake you asked a question and we're trying to give you an answer. Of course none of us are gonna have it directly from the kid because most of us don't care. We're trying to explain to you some reasons why it could be that way...reasons that don't even really need to apply to that specific kid. You said that you can't see how a 12 year old venezuelan kid would want to meet Obama, and we gave you some reasons. It may not be that kid's reason, but it's probably the reason for most kids. He inspired a lot of people by becoming president because he made his mark in history. Maybe Obama inspired this kid to do something and believe in himself. Maybe the kid just wants to meet a powerful figure. Maybe the kid just likes Obama's name. Whatever the reason is...it doesn't matter. You asked a question and got feedback. What the fuck else did you expect?

I never said you were thinking wrong. I think you're stupid for believing that it's odd and wrong for a 12 year old to think that. I know lots of 12 year olds that would want to meet Obama. Hell, I admire a kid more for wanting to meet Obama over a sport's figure because that shows that he cares about what's going on in his country or just world affairs (if he's not from america).

That's just my opinion though.
