Well, I bought the car from my dad. He was hauling the car as scrap to the junkyard. Unknown condition, no key, no papers. Got a key made, found out it had a blown headgasket. Repairded that and found out the head and block were both cracked (on the block it was around a head bolt hole, on the head is was just a small hairline crack that didn't affect it) so I kept going. Got it running "good" and the clutch was shot, so I got a new one in. Decided I'd give the effort to get papers for title/insurance since it ran decent. First day driving the clutch hydraulics fucked up, fixed it. Rear wheel cylinders locked up, replaced them. Then the FPR goes out... fixed. Two tires. Alternator... fixed. Battery... fixed.Originally Posted by HvyArms

I bought another 318i with a BRAND NEW head and a low mileage short block, but I didn't want to sink MORE money into it. I broke even, so it's all good.
