yeah i think they cancelled the varsity meets for good, the cops said a lot of mexicans, asians and blacks were ruining all the fun for white people so its over now.

In response to the recent cancellation of the August IA Varsity meet, the Varsity posted a letter in a recent issue of the AJC....
Sounds like the Varsity really wants the tuners out there.The Varsity is saddened by the news that the August monthly meeting of car enthusiasts tied into the import scene has been cancelled. We at The Varisty look forward to the monthly gathering of car enthusiasts with much anticipation. We hope that the meet will return next month with a grand showing of beautiful cars. We would like to extend an invitation to all import enthusiasts to still come out to the Varsity this Thursday night even with the meet being cancelled. Be sure to come inside and when the server asks you, "What'll You Have?" just reply by saying, "Imports Rule!, Give Me A..." and then ask for your order. You will get half price on your meal for showing your support. We hope to see you out this Thursday night.

btw, i heard they were gonna change it to monday night to weed off some of the ricers and only the true enthusiasts come out, you hear anything about that?
Yeah, I'm trying to find that article where they moved that promotion to Monday night. It's definitely been moved from Thursday night though. I have my boy at the AJC checkin' into it right now.

I don't get what moving it back a couple days will do... if people showed up thrusday that you don't want to show up wont they still show up on monday, if it gets moved to monday?
