Default Suggestions for the beach pls

I am looking for the closest place to the beach from Atlanta where I can launch my jet skis. I need a break from everything right now and me and my best friend are thinking about going to the beach. I'd prefer if we can launch the jet skis somewhere and go play for a bit. Thanks

I want to say hilton head (?) area isn't too far for y'all

Panama City is only an hour more than Savannah for me, so that's where we go.

Tybee Island is pretty nice. But as Evan stated, Panama City is the place to go.

Panama is probably where we will end up, its not the best but it is close and cheap. What I am more concerned with though is making sure there is somewhere close by to launch the skis. I have never done anything like launching at the beach so IDK how that works or where you would have to go.

Correction, savannah is closer to you than HH.

I'd still drive the extra. Personally I don't like the Tybee/Savannah area.

    Go to St. Andrews.

Really nice park. Pay to park and you will have access to a boat ramp, shower, picnic area, etc

At the Days Inn, i saw a boat/ski ramp literally on the street behind the hotel.. And plenty of skis out there. But i do know u have to get your license, or so i heard, but all u need to do is take a written test.

When my sister was 19 ( I think), she had to get her boating license (she got a ticket for not having it). It was like $7 and a written test. Took all of 10 minutes.

    Obviously in Fla.

I'm getting mine regardless since the DNR knows us pretty well at Lanier now, might be a good thing to have.
