Last Saturday morning Christi was found in the unfinished part of her mom's basement (close to her finished area where Christi's room was) by her mom and little brother Brent. She was basically unconscience but having a seizure. The paramedics came and took her to the hospital. She was being worked on the whole way there and while being rushed to the Emergency Room. Her heart was racing at 175 beats per minute and nothing they did would bring her heart rate down. When it finally subsided she was placed in a critical care area. Within a couple of days she had no brain activity except one minor flutter. Her father is Catholic and had the appropriate ceremony performed by a priest. Christi passed away Wednesday, October 5th at 5:24 p.m. Christi was an organ donor. Some of her organs were too damaged as was all of her tissue to donate. Life Link was able to use three of her organs to save three people's lives. Ron sent me the obituary that will run in tomorrows Atlanta Journal which I will attempt to attach. Services are Sunday. Ron welcomes everyone to come and attend. He made it quite clear that Christi loved all of her Middle Georgia friends.
Ron said Christi's favorite color was pink. He has asked that we all wear something pink to her services. He said no coat or ties just to think PINK. Christi will be laid to rest wearing a pink top and jeans. It appears a date rape drug called GHB as well as cocaine were in her system. Ron has given me permission to tell this. There is an investigation going on since a car with a loud muffler came and departed Christi's house moments before she was found.

The celebration of Christi's beautiful, spirited, 20 years in our lives,
will be held at the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA on
Sunday, October 9th, the year of our Lord 2005. You may share a moment
with Christi beginning at 2:00 p.m. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m.
Friends will be received to share the memories and celebration of her life,
following the services, at Ron and D.D. Flynn's home: 722 Ivory Trail,
Woodstock, GA. Christi leaves, to cherish her memory, loving parents Ron

Angela Whitener. There are so many more relatives and friends to include who
love so Christi completely. Let us embrace her life as God is embracing her
now.
