About the same situation happened to a dad's friend. A few guys were hitting him with baseball bats, he runs to his truck, gets his gun and shoots at them. Kills one and 2 survived. He got 13 years, but he's having another court in a few months, so he'll probably be out soon.
I was thinking also, he could of just drove off while he was at his truck? I guess people don't think. One little decision can fuck up your whole life.
