Seriously, why do you think it's sooo expensive for young people to have insurance even on a 4 cylinder car.. It's not cause they don't want you to have a V8.. It's because kids DO NOT WATCH THEIR SPEDOMETER, NOR DO THEY WATCH THE ROAD OR THE OTHER CARS AROUND THEM... Kids are extremely ignorant and do not listen to their parents because they think they know everything about everything and think they are invinsible... I hate to have to admit, but I lost several friends in highschool because of their careless behavior on the road...

Open road or not, you really should pay A LOT more attention to what you are doing because it's not only your life in your hands, it's everyone and everything else's around you.

that sucks, but just because i dont watch my speed doesnt mean i think i know what im doing and dont know how to drive. and i dont depend on my parents for anything, or not listen to what they tell me. i am pretty observant of my surroundings when im driving. mainly because i only pay liability and uninsured motorist for my insurance. thats because like you said, insurance is alot for 16-21 year olds. so if i was to get ina wreck, then ide be screwed, unless the other persons insurance covered it.
