should IA require registration to view?

i like the invite only for the KF. that way only ppl we know are up in there racing. i know we have the private lounge, but ppl never post in it. so just do it for the entire KF

I think it would be a good idea to do it. I have been linked to forums before or ran across one that had something I wanted to see and I ended up signing up and staying a while.

the only downside is this...and let's say for example

you post something and want to link it back to IA ....anyone who wants to view now has to registar in order to do such...not everyone is a internet socialite

maybe if you only did certain sections and sub forums...that way ppl can still creep around..but not to much

I think certain sections should still be open. You still want to draw people here. And people are going to want to look around before deciding if they want to waste the time to register or not. The WL needs to be open, because I love going to other sites seeing our ownage threads there. Maybe the meets and pics section needs to be open. Killsforum should be members only.

Make it so you have to register to see the Whoreslounge, RLD, and for sale sections. Maybe even the car pics section too.

the guests are what makes us so slow and get the server busy page all the damn time.

O I just thought of something! If you have to sign in to view, then people can't sneak and look at thread anonymously. You know like if someone doesn't want you to know they are looking at the thread where everyone is talking about them for stealing something or being a bad seller.

I'm a perfect example of this, joined March of '06, i have less than 220 posts, but ive logged in a few times a week every week since. Its like every1 says make some of the most popular sections open, ppl get hooked and sign up for the sake of finding out whats in the other sections. just my :2cents:.
