not entirely true, well for me it isnt, the green one is "limon", and the yellow one is "lima". when i was a waiter, i used to ask what color they wanted lol, because to me lime is the yellow one and lemon is the green one. lol

Between el Salvador, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain, Puerto Rico, etc. they all use Lima and Limón differently. There are also green lemons that are used for cooking in mexico, who knew?!
