i know i'm pretty late but i believe the point he was trying to make was that people have been "picked on" in the WL for YEARS. why only now do people get banned for it? It kind of contradicts what the WL was made for. If this is to stay a peaceful Candy Land of a forum why not eliminate the WL?

I have to disagree DO. respectfully of course.
JITB was going out of his way to bypass the rulles that have recently been set.
It doesn;t have to be candy land, but bringing hurtful threads up is not only childish, but it's counter productive

I don't think he was specifically focusing on a specific members unfortunate bashage but rather uncovering epic bash battles throughout the years that suffered no consequence.

JM didnt PICK on someone, he coerced another member into starting a thread about rumors on someones PERSONAL MEDICAL HISTORY.
He then participated in the thread.
It wasnt like he said BRI IS A BITCH and went off on her like all those other threads were.
If you cant see the difference, then there really isnt any hope for anyone anymore, which kinda led me to just say fuck it its not worth arguing over someones personal beliefs and someone elses DAY IN AND DAY OUT.
I also want to make 2 other points
1) The rules are not RECENT. JULIO himself posted them, NO ONE ELSE.
2) If you did this on any other forum you would have been banned no questions asked.
I just dont understand why people just cant let shit go. I made this analogy before. Lets try it again.
You get caught speeding and get a ticket. Do you tell the officer you were speeding last week, last month, last year and never got a ticket then therefore you dont deserve the ticket now?
People break rules and mods let it go to a point. But when people CONTINUALLY start to break the rules and push the mods to a point they have to react, they do so swiftly to avoid any further problems. Then, it seems those users sit back and cry and whine about "so and so did this and nothing happened to them".
It used to be you got banned, you did your time and came back. Julio banned me for 6 months, i didnt bitch moan and complain. I broke a rule, i bashed a sponsor, he banned me. I did my time and came back.
