Default Anyone try the CLEAR Internet Service yet?

Has anyone heard of this new company?

I am thinking of getting this for home use so I dont have to get Comcast, etc again.

    It's $45/month?

Why not stick with Comcast? Bad experience? I love Comcast. 1M x better than Charter.

because I am not going to go with Cable, thinking dish network and cable or AT&T is all you can use for internet, and I like the idea of being able to go home or anywhere in the city and have high speed internet for one price.

Yeah seems like a great concept and like I said for one price you get home and unlimited internet anywhere in the city at home speeds.

Oh I didn't read that much into it.

Sounds like an amazing deal then. I use Verizon Broadband for my laptop and the work pays for it, so I wouldn't need this, but what a great direction for tech to go in.

They say the speeds when out of the house are the same as when at home, so not slower and relying on 3G speeds, etc... Thats the good part

i've been hearing some comments that it 'acts' the same as Dish, i.e. problems during rainy weather. Speed also depend on your location.......

But i'm intrigued to find out from any users.....

speeds do depend on location - if selling point is its better than DSL then obvioiusly speed shouldn't be your #1 priority. i am planning on getting it at work hopefully so i don't have to build a 3000$ wireless system to do the same thing - i'll let you know how it works they are supposed to have towers in north gnett later this month.
