Tattoos don't have to be meaningful. I didn't know japanese tattoos were a fashion statement these day...You know, it could just be people like the art? I agree with the stars thing, or other simple tattoos. And so does it make you sleep better at night because you think your tattoo is sooo "different" and "meaningful"? I doubt it is much of either. Nothing is original in the tattoo world anymore. I am pretty sick of the snobby pussies that are all smug towards people with tattoos that might or might not have meaning to them. The way I look at people that have that one meaningful tattoo is their opinion is null and void in the tattoo world to people like me, people that are heavily tattooed.

But I'd rather not, not for me. I respect them when they are something different or amazing, even all over and out there. But getting the stupid shit everyone else gets is lame.

A buddy of mine has the NYC skyline on his entire back with memorial spots after 9/11 he got when he lost 3 family members and 6 friends in the tradgedy. That is a cool tat.
