    Mesa man tries to commit suicide using sword, steering wheel

    A 27-year-old Mesa man drove through the brick wall of a Chandler home and ended up in the pool after an apparent suicide attempt Tuesday morning, Chandler police spokeman Sgt. Joe Favazzo said.

    The man positioned a 24-inch sword through the steering wheel and tied it in place with a T-shirt. Favazzo said when he drove through the wall, the airbag deployed and bent the sword.

    The car broke through the fence and crashed into the pool, but he got himself out.

    The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries , including a cut in the neck from the sword, said Favazzo.

    It is unknown whether he will be charged with any crimes.

    I can't stop laughing at people like this. Hell I wanna live and there are hundreds of times that I have came closer to death than this - HAHAA.

    Shit, it's harder to live than it is to die --- yet people fail miserably at dieing. Shit... this guy tried to die and will end up w/ a new car -- SWEET! He can't lose for winning. LOL

    It involves a pool - he DEF wasn't black. Black people only swim when some1 is drowning and we realize that no1 else is gonna save 'em. We even stand at the bank and yell "are you SURE that you can't make it to me?? TRY HARD!!!! Just do like this (then we make swimming motions in the air)!!!!!" We do this for a few hundred minutes before we finally take our shoes off, earrings out, and jersey off and go in after them.
