Someone please explain how a roof rack became "cool"

So any day you dont have a load to carry on your rack you should entirely remove the rack from the vehicle??

Just because you occasionally use a rack doesn't mean you cant have one unloaded on a vehicle.

The thing is, most people who are putting them on their cars, don't ride bikes.
