Where is this jail?? I was thinking after we talked this morning and the only jail I know near "the desert" is the one in Tehachapi. My father-in-law's ranch overlooks that prison. It reminds him every day not to go back.

It is on the back side of California City about 5 miles driving and 4 miles as the bird flies.
