I feel you on that. Of my eight tattoos, a couple of them are/were gang related tats, but I grew up and out of that crap about ten years ago. But the style and wording that I have as my other tats makes them all look gang related so everyone just assumes that's what I am/do still. But the difference is that I don't walk around and act like I'm a gangbanger. Later, QD.
