    Default Besides for Sex and Eggplant

    So my girlfriend is about ready to pop (she's pregnant)

    I have done some research online, and it seems that sex is the best way to help induce labor, and Scalini's swears by their Eggplant Parmigiana.

    Has anyone else heard of anything that might help induce labor?

    Reps for serious answers that can be backed up.

    I've heard walking is great and so is sex. I must also say to be very very careful trying to induce labour on your own. I've know some herbs that do it but I dont' recomended it. If she really wants to give birth that bad Id see a doc for his advice. Congrats on the soon to be new arrival!

    I think I get the idea with the Primrose oil

    Im not gonna do the bumpy driving test. the trip to Gainescille was bumpy enough and that didnt induce it.

    I'm going to make the eggplant tonight, may make it a little spicy too just to help.

    And Phoenix, the doctor told us that we needed to have sex and that she needed to walk, I was just wondering if anyone has heard of other ways to help it along

    Congrats on becomming a daddy! I've heard walking helps get the baby down to the pelvic area and sex does help induce labor.. Wouldn't hurt to try!! good luck!!

    thats what I have heard, but the doctor has been pushing her.

    Told her to stop taking the medicine to calm down the contractions. Basically do everything like normal to cause the contractions. Sex, walking etc to help cause the labor. and this is all a month early too.
