So my girlfriend is about ready to pop (she's pregnant)

I have done some research online, and it seems that sex is the best way to help induce labor, and Scalini's swears by their Eggplant Parmigiana.

Has anyone else heard of anything that might help induce labor?

Walking is great to induce labor. Sex helps dilate if you are long and wide enough.:idb:

Well, my daughter was 9 days early, and this is what I did.

I walked/speed walked for an entire day. Actually, it was the day after Thanksgiving and I got up at 4 AM to go shopping. I shopped ALL day long. The next day, I had Mexican for lunch and dinner. Then my water broke at 1 AM, made it to the hospital at 1:30 AM, and my daughter was born at 4:49 AM.

Basically... WALK or any physical activity (Including Sex... just make sure that you finish. Semen soften the cervix!)

I don't really think the food thing works, but after I ate Mexican twice in one day, I went into labor. Probably just coincidence, but hey.. who knows!?!? Good luck!

Got to be careful with Castor Oil. It induces bowel movements which can in turn trigger uterine contractions. However, it can cause the mother to become severely dehydrated. Just be careful if you use this method. I've heard that it can definitely work, but my doctor warned me about it.

Having sex with someone in your wife's family would help induce labor.

But seriously sex and walking are two great tools. Just, of course, be careful on the sex part. Unless you're Asian in girth and length. Then bang away. Later, QD.
