But I don't get the way the message board is set up over there. I click on the next page and see most of the same pictures, they are in different orders, and it seems to have no way of being organized. WTF?

The "futaba" style board is strange. When a thread is posted in, it is sent to the front of the section. So everytime you go to page two, all the threads that were posted in have been sent to the front, and the threads you were just looking at are probably on Page 2 where you are now. The best thing to do in a congested section like /b/ is to sit on Page 1 and just F5 the sh*t out of it. lol
Time to put on your Cool Face.
Each thread is bumped to the top of the first page when it is replied to. So the most replied to threads will stay on the front page while the others fall back over time. It just happens that /b/ is used by a LOT of people so it moves quickly. Like Nate said, its better sometimes to just click refresh on the first page.
