In America no matter how good you are, a insane amount of money is required to get into series where you can eventually get paid to race. No, Road Atlanta is a more challenging track (the most in the southeast) and is closer. I haven't been to TGP because it's far, small, and just doesn't look like a great track, for beginners yes, for breaking in new parts sure, for overall experience no. If you have never spun, gone off, or anything like that you are driving like a pussy.
