2. It depends on how much you drive. THe more you drive, the more gas you potentially save.
3. It runs cleaner than any other cars around. Less emissions.

The new one gets 50 MPG average. Some people are claiming 60 MPG once they don't speed. That is amazing.

1. Not true, the prius is an investment to save money.. You are spending the extra cash to save, but you dont.. It is an investment..
2. Not true again, the batteries life go by hours, the more you drive, the sooner you will need to change those batteries..
3. Not true again.. The prius really isn't all that environmentally friendly.. Disposing the car and the batteries, and considering the negative effects of building the car..

Please don't tell me you are one of those diesel nuts stuck to the old way of doing things. Hey I think its great to have a diesel option for consumers but hybrids are cleaner, more efficient for us in America and techno marvels.

1.Your points are biased as NO CAR is an investment, at least nothing anyone of us drive.
2. People have reported battieres going for 200k and 300k miles before needing replacing. Its not like they just run out at 100k automatically.
3. That is some jibberish the diesel fanbois created. EVERY CAR uses a battery There is no complete formula to come to that conclusion.
