    You know that the Prius has an 8 year / 100K miles warranty on the battery?

    You can take it in at 7years 11 months or 99,999 miles, and get it replaced at no cost if it fails.

    Yep! the more recent models.. But w/e, the prius is not money well spent.. Seriously, a diesel jetta is the way to go!!

    But if it fails at 8 years 1 day or 100,001 miles, you're fucked.

    No because you can pick up a TDI now for dirt cheap and has phenomenal MPG..

    You cant buy the prius because you like the way it looks, the only reasoning behind it is to save on gas and save the planet.. It doesn't do either..

    Guess you haven't seen the inside of a Prius. It's not that bad looking, and not everyone will like the TDI for looks either.
