    "The 56-year-old Dirty Dancing star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles looking tremendously gaunt, the result of his cancer treatment.

    The National Enquirer claims that Patrick Swayze has dropped down to a mere 75 pounds during his battle against pancreatic cancer.

    The actor has been working tirelessly on the television series The Beast, shooting on location in Chicago working long hours without painkillers and taking chemotherapy treatment on the weekends.

    In an interview with Barbara Walters, Swayze outlined his prognosis by saying, "Five years is pretty wishful thinking. Two years seems likely if you're going to believe statistics. I want to last until they find a cure, which means I'd better get a fire under it.""







    Sad to see anyone have to go through this. You can't even recognize the man anymore.

    that sucks man. i vaguely remember when my dad went through cancer and how many pounds he dropped...even other family members of mine who have battled it. its a sad look.
